
Lead Zero Trust Engineer
- 12 months plus 12 months
- Citizenship required – must be able to obtain a clearance
- Lead the design, implementation and management of zero trust security across the agency

This government agency is a service provider, responsible for providing and funding a range of support services to thousands of individuals across Australia. With multiple locations across Canberra, and nationwide, the organisation seeks only the most skilled and professional individuals to assist them in developing programs, policies and initiatives that will improve the quality of life for vulnerable Australians.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop the zero-trust work plan for NDIA
- Working within an agile delivery framework, lead the design and implementation of zero trust security architecture and frameworks
- Staying up to date with the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements
Skills:
- Demonstrated familiarity with zero trust principles (particularly NIST ZTF)
- Extensive knowledge of security principles, standards, and best practices
- Demonstrated experience delivering technically challenging programs
- Experience and strong knowledge of orchestration and automation in a security environment
- Considerable experience with Azure, M365 and/or Amazon technologies
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF
