About the Role:
As a Legal Secretary, you will provide essential administrative support to the legal team, helping manage files, schedule appointments, liaise with clients, and coordinate critical case documents. Your organisational skills and proactive approach will directly contribute to the firm’s smooth legal service delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Open, maintain, and close client files across systems including Actionstep and iManage

Draft correspondence, cost disclosures, and coordinate legal aid claims

Diarise key dates, manage schedules, and support financial processes for cases

Liaise with clients, legal professionals, and external stakeholders

Submit online notices, arrange transcripts, interpreter services, and conference bookings

Upload briefs, monitor inboxes, and assist with billing and invoicing

Provide general administrative support and ensure accurate file archiving
Skills and Experience:

Minimum two years’ experience as a Legal Secretary or in an administrative role (legal setting preferred)

High-level communication and interpersonal skills

Strong client service orientation and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-focused environment

Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems
