Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer to join our federal government client. You will be responsible for implementing, managing, and retiring the infrastructure that supports digital services, including physical, virtual, networking, and cloud infrastructure.

This role involves technical landscape design, installation, configuration, deployment, technical security, and operation of ICT components and databases. You will work under limited direction, exercising initiative and judgement, and managing work amidst competing priorities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support the Microsoft environment end-to-end.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise as the Subject Matter Expert.
  • Design and develop solutions to support the Microsoft environment.
  • Oversee regular maintenance of patches and support packages for all technical layers.
  • Contribute to business planning, changes in workplace practices, and business improvement strategies.
  • Manage and organise own work in the context of competing priorities.


Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in availability management
  • Technical expertise in IT infrastructure
  • Capable of problem management
  • Proficient in systems design
  • Experience in systems installation and removal
