Network Engineer
Our client is an important provider in the utilities industry in Georgia with a mission of providing reliable electric system operations to the state. They are hiring for a vital position on their Network team – the right fit is a well-rounded, knowledgeable Network Engineer with strong documentation and process skills.
*This position is hybrid in Tucker, GA – all relocation costs will be covered for non-local candidates*

Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience as a Network Engineer with proven tenure at past organizations
- Ability to form and document action plans for design and engineering projects
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, OSM model, routing, BGP, OSPF, etc.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with meticulous documentation for architecture and design processes
- Fiber Optics exposure
- Knowledge of what a service provider does
- Knowledge of MPLS
- Exposure to spine-leaf architecture
- Exposure to Palo Alto
Job Description:
- Work with the team to implement solutions to support the company’s core network infrastructure impacting MPLS and Internet
- Impact implementation of various projects for the company with a focus on designing new networks or network modifications
- Focus on improvements for design, equipment, and services, and technology
- Provide Engineering support (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, VPN, etc.)
- Work very heavily on documentation to assist the team with implementation of specific Engineering projects
