About the department:

Our Federal Government client is Australia’s principle revenue collection agency, primarily responsible for administering the federal taxation system and superannuation legislation, as well as managing and delivering a range of Australian government payment and loan schemes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, document, run and analyse appropriate performance tests across multiple applications to identify areas for improvement, in line with the Program of Work.
  • You will support the production of all performance-related documents, test strategies and plans, closure memos and executive updates. You will also provide high-level technical, operational, and procedural advice.
  • You will communicate effectively across a range of media types, employing a variety of styles to appeal to different audiences. You will understand and embrace the agency’s various ways of working, support a culture of continuous improvement and be agile in your approach to collaboration and delivery of services.

Skills:

  • Has performance testing experience across multiple platform architectures and technologies
  • Plans and manages performance testing of applications before release into production
  • Experience using performance testing and monitoring tools, such as Jmeter(Mandatory), LoadRunner(Preferable) and AppDynamics/Cloudwatch.
  • Coding knowledge and experience in languages such as Java and C#.
