Platform Engineer Specialist

This opportunity is with a Microsoft Partner in the US that is working across multiple industries like, Finance, Retail, GCP and more! They are looking for a Platform Engineering Specialist who will be a specialist on the team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the platforms and tools that will improve their client’s software development team.

Ideally this person will have a strong background in platform development, automation, and DevOps practices. With technology expertise in Python & Java, DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git) and Cloud Services (AWS and GCP)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps practices.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and container orchestration.

Remote contract opportunity with occasional travel!
