Power Platform / SharePoint Developer
Talent International is searching for an experienced Power Platform / SharePoint Developer to join our State Government client based in Brisbane CBD on a contract from January to June 2025.
The role:
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-priority initiative within a State Government Department. The project focuses on implementing a new Ways of Working (WoW) model to enhance operational processes and staff wellbeing, aligned with recommendations from a PwC report.
As a Power Platform / SharePoint Developer, you will work within the Project WoW team to deliver outcomes across key pillars: People, Process, Technology, and Governance. Your work will include stakeholder engagement, developing Power Platform and SharePoint solutions, and delivering high-quality project documentation to support the transformation objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups to elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
- Propose and develop system designs using Power Platform products to meet project needs.
- Configure and manage Power Platform apps and SharePoint sites.
- Document processes, workflows, and specifications in alignment with project goals.
- Conduct testing activities, including preparing and executing test plans.
- Deliver project documentation in line with frameworks and quality standards.
- Manage sensitive information and ensure compliance with information management policies.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the Power Platform stack (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate) and experience with SharePoint design and development.
- Strong business-to-technology translation skills to increase business value.
- High-level analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Highly regarded skills:
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or willingness to complete.
- Experience in automating business processes with Power Automate.
- An eye for clean, easy-to-use UI/UX implementations.
- Knowledge of data privacy and information security best practices.
