Power Platform Specialist
Position Summary: The Power Platform Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) that meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing solutions with multiple data sources and APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement software solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) that meet business requirements
- Firm understanding of implementing solutions with multiple data sources (APIs / Snowflake)
- Collaborate with other power platform specialists and the Integration & Application Architect
- Compile and implement application development plans
- Write scripts and code for applications, as well as install and update applications
- Run diagnostic tests and perform debugging procedures
- Perform application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration
- Document application development processes, procedures, and standards
- Integrate trends in application architecture in application development projects
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years experience as a Power Platform Specialist, preferably in a related industry
- Highly proficient in programming languages
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Superb organizational and time management skills
- Great collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with Jira/Confluence and Agile Methodology
- Mining Industry experience or climate related experience is favourable.
This is an initial 3 month contract.
