As the Principal Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in analysing current practices, designing future workflows, and implementing meaningful changes that support effective outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, facilitating workshops and meetings to define current and future-state processes.
- Provide expert advice on analysis and design methodologies to ensure program delivery meets statewide objectives.
- Gather, document, and manage detailed functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Lead business process modelling initiatives using recognised industry standards.
- Collaborate with clinical, health informatics, and ICT experts to ensure compliance with operational and technical standards.
- Cultivate positive working relationships across teams and stakeholders to drive program success.
Role Fit
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience leading business analysis for complex IM/ICT projects, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Expertise in business process modelling (e.g., BPMN) and alignment with industry frameworks such as BABOK v3.0.
- Advanced communication, negotiation, and consultation skills in a project environment.
- Leadership experience managing and mentoring multidisciplinary project teams.
- Proficiency in ICT tender development and procurement activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant qualifications in Mental Health Peer Work, Health Informatics, Business, IT, or a recognised Business Analysis certification are desirable.
