Talent is excited to partner with an award-winning organisation within the renewable energy sector. Due to growth within the organisation as well as recent acquisitions, they’re looking for an indirect focused Procurement Category Manager to manage their Travel and Professional services category. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with indirect procurement experience across Travel and/or professional services that’s looking to expand their horizons and join a business with an amazing culture and excellent staff retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and implement travel and professional services as a category across a group of businesses
  • Contract management and supplier relationship management
  • Offer commercial risk analysis and support to procurement projects
  • Educate end-users on procurement processes
  • Provide mentorship to juniors within the team

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of procurement experience
  • Have exposure to travel and/or professional services as a category
  • Understand supply chain value drivers
  • Experienced with negotiating contracts and influencing suppliers
  • Possess great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed
