Project Communication Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Communications Advisor to join a high-performing team that is integral to supporting a strategic transformation program within the aviation industry. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a next-generation network that will shape the future of Australian aviation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert communication advice to support strategic objectives across multiple programs and projects.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organisational goals and stakeholder interests.
• Create, write, and edit engaging digital content tailored to internal and external audiences, including newsletters, videos, intranet articles, and presentations.
• Design and execute communication and engagement plans to support employee engagement throughout change initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure coordination of communication activities and alignment with organisational objectives.
• Adhere to internal communication protocols, including style guides and approval channels.
• Demonstrate safety awareness in all communication materials and activities.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in large-scale transformation projects, particularly in technology and infrastructure sectors.
• Strong background in developing and executing strategic communications and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Superior communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Expertise in digital communications, including the use of MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel), Canva, and SharePoint.
• A solid understanding of the latest trends and tools in digital communication, with creative ideation and design skills.
• Prior experience with tools such as Yammer, Viva Engage, or Adobe publishing is a plus.

• Communication Lead, Program and Project Managers
• ENMP Content Coordinator and other team members
• Senior leadership, including the Chief Technology Officer team
• Corporate Communications team to ensure alignment with broader messaging

Required Qualifications:

• Must be an Australian Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian Government National Security Clearance at the required level.
