Talent are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer / Junior Project Manager for a defence client. This exciting opportunity suits junior/mid-level engineers who want to progress careers in the project management space. Due to the nature of the role, can only consider minimum NV1 cleared candidates. This role is based at Edinburgh Parks RAAF base.

Permanent Full Time role, based in Ed Parks

Skills Required:

  • Experience in monitoring and reviewing of Engineering deliverables – such as Systems Requirement Review, Systems Design Review, Peliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review
  • Experience in a project environment and an understanding of project lifecycles.
  • Planning, governance and assurance of the technical aspects of the Ad Hoc Tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve role responsibilities and deliverables.
  • At least 3-5 years’ relevant experience in Defence Engineering role
  • Resolve issues by identifying and developing ideas through analysis of alternative courses of action and their implications.
  • Project planning including development of each proposed project’s scope
  • Development of business cases and briefs to higher Defence authorities
