Project Manager (Content/Information Management)

We are currently looking for a Project Manager with strong exposure to Content Management (CMS)/Information Management solutions for a client in the utilities sector based in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. This is a 12 month contract opportunity and offers 2 days WFH pw.

You will be responsible for leading and managing business systems projects, with a particular focus on enterprise content management (ECM) implementation. The successful candidate will report directly to the ICT Delivery Manager and play a critical role in the successful delivery of complex, high-impact projects that support our organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of business systems projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop business cases for prospective projects for presentation to the relevant committee for investment approval.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, OT, business units, and external vendors, to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Oversee the implementation of content management and collaboration solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Monitor project performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as required to ensure project success.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies.

    Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on business systems projects.
  • Project Management Qualification, PMP, Prince2, PRAXIS or similar
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise content management implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of ECM principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar platforms.

    Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Information Security & Records Management policies for QLD Government Corporations or the water industry desirable.
  • Experience with Information Management projects incorporating M365/Azure data governance tools and processes.
