Project Manager // Payroll Implementation
Our client is a Tier 1 client in the Financial Services sector. They are seeking a skilled Project Manager with expertise in payroll implementation to join their dynamic team and lead the successful execution of payroll system projects.
The Project Manager – Payroll Implementation will oversee the end-to-end implementation of payroll systems, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This role requires strong project management skills, payroll knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
Responsibilities:

Lead payroll system implementation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against them.

Coordinate internal resources, external vendors, and third parties to ensure seamless project execution.

Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to align payroll system capabilities with business needs.

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company-specific payroll requirements.

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including status reports and progress presentations.

Facilitate training and support for end-users to ensure successful adoption of the payroll system.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll implementations.
Requirements:

6-8 years of experience as Project Manager within Payroll Implementation projects.

In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, systems, and compliance requirements.

Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working with payroll software systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday) is a plus.
