The client
Our client is a statutory agency tasked with the significant responsibility of protecting Australia’s national interests from foreign threats. As well as collecting and analysing foreign intelligence, our client provides information security services to the Australian Government.

The role
The PSO will be responsible for delivering support services to projects, including the selection and recommendation of project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking. Additionally, they will support program or project control boards, project assurance teams, and quality review meetings.

Responsibilities of the Project Support Officer include:

  • Maintain and update program/project risk registers, advise on risk treatments, and facilitate risk workshops.
  • Manage project documentation, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
  • Implement stakeholder communication plans to improve relationships.
  • Provide administrative support, including schedule maintenance, reporting, and resource management.
  • Offer general admin support, including records management and secretariat duties.
  • Deliver complex office and admin support to the program office.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Top Secret Private Vetting Clearance
  • Demonstrable administration and organisational skills
  • Demonstrable experience in the management of complex ICT projects
  • High level knowledge of project management methodologies
