We are now recruiting for a Quality Engineer to support the continuous improvement of QA processes within the agile framework.

Purpose:
Support the delivery of high-quality digital experiences for RAA members by performing testing and quality assurance activities.

Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • 5+ years’ experience in developing comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases tailored to meet regulatory requirements and business objectives.
  • 5+ years’ experience in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and compliance officers.
  • Deep understanding of agile values and principles. Understand the roles, artifacts, and ceremonies in Scrum, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ability to integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with a range of testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, Postman, JMeter, or similar tools used for test management, defect tracking, API testing, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles, including continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements impacting software solutions (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, APRA). Ability to ensure that software testing and quality processes comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, SpecFlow, or Behave to write tests in a human-readable format.
  • Knowledge in scripting and coding languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or others used for writing automated test scripts.
  • Understanding of version control systems like Git for collaboration and version management of test scripts and other artifacts.
