Due to increased workload, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their Brisbane team. Your new role:

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate invoicing and vendor management. Your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Reconciliation and balancing of Receipt-Created Tax Invoices (RCTI) across multi-sites.
  • Liaising with suppliers and colleagues to confirm quantities and uncover errors for goods and services.
  • Identify and investigate invoice discrepancies, work closely with suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Data entry and database management
  • Extensive use of SAP.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Proven experience in a similar Accounts / Reconciliations / Investigations role, preferably within a large organisation.
  • Proficiency in SAP software, highly regarded.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Knowledge of the mining industry (preferred but not essential).
