Records Officer
The Role:
We are seeking a Records Officer to join our state government client on an initial 6-month contract to support the administration and maintenance of their electronic Document and Records Management System (eDRMS), including SharePoint.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the eDRMS (TRIM, SharePoint, or similar).
- Ensure correct application and maintenance of access protocols for the Records Management System.
- Manage physical records, including filing, archiving, retention, and disposal processes.
- Provide training to staff on records management systems and practices.
About You:
- Experience in maintaining electronic records management systems (e.g., TRIM, SharePoint) and procedures.
- Knowledge of records management principles, including content management, filing systems, and naming conventions.
- Experience with physical archiving, including the retention and disposal of records.
- Ability to deliver training and support to internal staff on records management practices.
- Prior government experience is highly regarded.
