Recovery Partner - Non-Work Related
Talent International is currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Recovery Partner to support a NSW Government client in the coordination of injury management services for workers with non-work related injuries and health conditions. this is a contract role for 3 months initially with the view to be extended. The role is paying $55 per hour plus superannuation.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in a rewarding role focused on supporting the recovery and return to work of employees. The position offers the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
Role Overview:
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the Recovery at Work programs for employees with non-work related injuries or health conditions. You will be responsible for coordinating recovery processes, providing expert case management, and ensuring the timely and efficient return to work in line with medical advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored Recovery at Work programs to facilitate the recovery of non-work related injured or ill employees.
- Coordinate and monitor recovery plans, ensuring compliance with medical guidance and recovery goals.
- Collaborate with management teams and P&C Business Partners to assess fitness for work and facilitate the necessary medical assessments.
- Liaise with Claims Officers to ensure employees are informed of their entitlements and assist with income protection cases.
- Maintain a confidential case notes database and ensure all documentation is up to date and in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Promote the benefits of recovery at work across teams and attend relevant meetings as required.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in case management for non-work related injuries and health conditions, including the development of recovery plans.
- Proven experience in implementing Return to Work programs and familiarity with relevant public sector policies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate and present effectively.
- SIRA accreditation as a Return to Work Coordinator or equivalent qualification is highly regarded.
- Proficient in using information technology systems for case management and reporting.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Essential Criteria:
- A current NSW Driver’s License is required.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a bullying-free workplace, upholding high standards of behavior and professionalism.
