Revenue Administration Officer x 3 – NSW Government Client (Newcastle)

Contract Length: 6 months with the potential for extension
Location: Newcastle, NSW
Pay Rate: $700 to $35.22 per day + Super
Hours: 7.6 hours per day, 38 hours per week

Talent International is currently recruiting for three Revenue Administration Officers to join a NSW Government client based in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals experienced in revenue-related administration and financial transactions within a compliance-driven environment.

Primary Purpose
The Revenue Officer is responsible for managing all revenue-related administrative tasks, ensuring financial transactions are in line with legislative, statutory, client’s compliance obligations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative, revenue, and financial support using various billing systems for Client’s Revenue services.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring prompt investigation and resolution of issues in line with policies and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records across multiple electronic patient information and billing systems to ensure precise revenue generation.
  • Collaborate with patients, Local Health Districts (LHDs), Medicare, health funds, and other organizations to ensure accurate billing.
  • Contribute to team-focused environments, offering insights for the continuous review and development of practices and procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and necessary training.

Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated experience with billing systems and the ability to analyze and report findings.
  2. Proven knowledge of policies and legislation related to billing in accounts/revenue environments.
  3. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, capable of preparing documents and reports for stakeholders.
  4. Developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and achieve key performance indicators.
  5. Experience in handling sensitive information in compliance with confidentiality and privacy requirements.

Respirator Use
As per client’s guidelines, workers may be required to use a respirator and complete fit testing. Exceptions may apply for religious or health-related reasons.
