
Sales Director

Overview:
An exceptional opportunity has become available for an experienced Sales Director who will work within the Defence sector. You will be instrumental in fostering and expanding client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales initiatives to achieve strategic objectives.
This role is based in Canberra, and requires the successful person to have a strong background in Defence and a proven track record in high-value business development.
Your duties will include:
- Manage and nurture key relationships with client personnel and CXOs within the Defence sector.
- Analyse and monitor stakeholder relationships to identify and leverage business opportunities.
- Lead the pursuit of new business, ensuring the closure of opportunities within Defence.
- Drive the entire sales cycle for significant opportunities, aligning with strategic client needs.
- Engage in client consultations, workshops, and negotiations to develop tailored solution propositions.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Delivery teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Skills and experience we are seeking:
- Extensive Sales/BD experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with experience in Global Delivery Model.
- Established network within Defence and a deep understanding of Defence-specific business challenges.
- Proficiency in project management, particularly with Defence enterprise applications and systems integration.
- Demonstrated ability in proposal development and leading high-stakes presentations.
- Australian Citizenship and active Defence security clearance (NV1 clearance preferred).
