The Role:

As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) strategy for a leading organisation in the utilities sector. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in Copado, someone passionate about streamlining deployments and automating development processes in a collaborative environment.

The Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Salesforce DevOps pipelines using Copado, ensuring efficient CI/CD for all Salesforce applications.
  • Automate the Salesforce development lifecycle, including build, test, deploy, and monitor stages.
  • Integrate Copado seamlessly with Salesforce tools and services to enhance version control, automation, and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with developers, release managers, and QA engineers to define and implement DevOps best practices.
  • Develop and maintain deployment strategies to reduce downtime and deployment risks.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot deployment issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution.
  • Manage code migrations, Salesforce metadata, and Git-based version control within Copado.
  • Implement security and governance frameworks to maintain a compliant DevOps environment.
  • Mentor and train internal teams on DevOps tools, best practices, and workflows.
  • Stay current on the latest Salesforce DevOps trends, Copado updates, and industry innovations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience with Salesforce DevOps and Copado.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and deployment strategies.
  • Proficiency in Git, Salesforce metadata management, and environment governance.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams in agile environments.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
