Salesforce DevOps Engineers

Due to growth our client is seeking two Salesforce DevOps Engineers to support a project at a critical juncture in the Salesforce implementation journey. This will be an initial 3-month contract until the end of the financial year then extensions are likely after this. This would suit someone who is available immediately, currently finishing a contract or has a short notice period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support multiple concurrent workstreams, including production hotfixes, weekly enhancements, and two planned major releases
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments
  • Improve automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality and platform stability
  • Manage version control systems and enforce branching strategies across multiple development tracks
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and provide rapid resolution for critical production fixes
  • Create and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and deployment procedures
  • Collaborate with development teams to enforce coding standards and best practices
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimisations as needed
  • Provide technical guidance on release management and change control processes
  • Helping execute a remediation plan to achieve full implementation by July
  • Managing weekly “business as usual” enhancement deployments

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce development lifecycle and deployment methodologies
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and branching strategies
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as BitBucket, Gearset, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DX and SFDX CLI for modern development workflows
  • Understanding of Salesforce metadata types and deployment considerations
  • Experience with static code analysis tools for quality assurance
  • Working knowledge of typescript, bash or similar for scripting requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing complex release schedules with multiple parallel workstreams
  • Background in implementing DevOps best practices in regulated industries
  • Knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce development
