About the Role:

We are expanding our Salesforce-specialized capability at a leading consultancy firm, with exciting roles and future opportunities in the pipeline. As part of our rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced Test Analyst – Salesforce to join our dynamic team. This role will provide the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, primarily focused on Salesforce, ensuring that solutions are delivered with optimal quality. You’ll contribute to improving business performance through thorough testing and quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Strategy Development: Prepare and develop test strategies, test cases, and test automation to ensure the delivery of high-quality Salesforce solutions within an agile development context.

  • Software Testing & Reporting: Conduct rigorous software testing (including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing), and provide detailed reports on test results, issues, and progress to senior management.

  • Requirements Verification: Verify the functionality and quality of software by ensuring it meets the specified requirements, and track reported defects through to resolution using tools such as JIRA.

  • Test Driven Design (TDD): Apply test-driven design practices to ensure that testing is integrated into the development process early and iteratively.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with developers, product owners, and other team members to ensure quality objectives are met. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for managing expectations and resolving issues.

  • Defect Verification: Work with developers to verify defects and issues reported during testing and validate them against the original requirements.

  • Agile Methodology: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings as part of an agile team, ensuring testing is aligned with the sprint goals.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Test Analyst in a Salesforce environment or similar roles within IT projects.
  • Strong experience in software testing and reporting, with a focus on Salesforce solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in test automation, test-driven design (TDD), and agile development.
  • Solid understanding of testing tools like JIRA, and experience in requirements and issue tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with business processes and an ability to test solutions against business requirements.
