SAP ABAP Developer

We are currently seeking a SAP ABAP Developer to join a QLD State Government department for a 6 month contract wil likely extensions based in Brisbane CBD. The SAP ABAP Developer will join their Finance and Business Systems section and will be required to advance the SAP Improvements and MSBI Reporting using SAP modules Plant Maintenance, Project Systems and Investment Management.

You will be responsible for:
* ABAP development including Object Oriented ABAP Programming, CDS Views, ABAP Web Dynpro, ALE, EDI, IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Smart Forms, Interactive Forms, workflow development.
* UI5 Fiori Applications Development and Fiori Launchpad Administration.
* Assessing SAP notes for problem solving and security patching.
* Providing development support and enhancements of on-Premise SAP systems, including ECC, SAP NetWeaver, Process Integration (PI), Gateway and Portal.


Minimum qualifications:

Minimum 10 years ABAP programming experience, including:

* A minimum of 2 full life cycle implementations.

* Good Experience on SAP UI5 Fiori Application Development.

* Experience with assessing SAP notes and understanding it’s applications.

* Delivering quality services and/or solutions that meet business requirements and ensure that goals are accomplished in line with business objectives.

* Provide technical consulting and support to the team.

* Providing knowledge transfer and mentoring other developers as required.

Desirable:

* Knowledge of SAP PM, PS and IM SAP modules

* Knowledge of Business Technology Platform and it’s capability and applications * Knowledge and usage of the Business Applications Studio (BAS) suite

* Knowledge of various browser technology such as Edge and it’s security features
