The Role
Our client is seeking the engagement of a SAS Developer to support their Enterprise Data Warehouse through the design, development, testing and maintenance of SAS programs. Working in close collaboration with key business areas, the SAS Developer will support daily data delivery processes, month-end processing and data-related requests.
The SAS Developer will
- Develop and improve existing reports and data interfaces using SAS
- Convert existing SAS into high quality SAS code
- Develop, code, test, debug and document SAS programs in SAS Enterprise Guide or SAS Studio
- Utilise advanced SAS Macros and SQL to meet business requirements
- Require cross-environment coding for data manipulation across SAS 9.4 and Viya environments
- Analyse business needs and deploy SAS programs in production
- Act as the SAS SME
Skills and Experience
- Experience in data analysis and development in SAS analytics platforms (including SAS Viya 4.0)
- Strong expertise in SAS coding, including work with SAS Enterprise Guide/SAS Studio against clustered environments
- Experience with usage of “proc cas” to work against CASE engine libraries
- SAS Certified Base Programmer
- Expertise in SQL
- Experience in Python, R or Java is preferred, as well as version control tools such as Gitlab CI, BitBucket or Bamboo.
It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen.
