The Role
This government department requires a Security Endpoint Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Defender to protect our clients’ digital assets and ensuring the integrity of their IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint solutions to protect against malware, phishing, and other cyber threats.
  • Monitor and analyse security alerts, incidents, and reports from endpoint protection tools.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure endpoint security best practices are integrated into the overall IT infrastructure.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on endpoints to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures related to endpoint protection.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience working as a Security Engineer or a related role.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including deployment and management.
  • Knowledge of other endpoint protection tools and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
