Senior Business Analyst
The Technical Business Analyst role involves contributing to a large-scale Salesforce transformation project aimed at establishing a solid technical foundation for the university.
To be successful in this role you will need to have proficiency in stakeholder management, user story writing, data management and reporting, and business process modelling.
Your brand-new role will see you facilitate workshops to elicit business/ technical needs, fostering collaboration and ensuring accurate requirement gathering. You will need to be familiar with Agile methodologies to ensure flexibility throughout project execution.
Skills and experience
- Experience writing effective user stories for the creation of reports, integration and application components (preferably Gherkin syntax)
- Ability to conduct comprehensive business process modelling, encompassing both As-Is and To-Be scenarios, to visualise and optimise workflows using the BPMN convention
- Experience working on Data Management / Reporting projects is essential
- Well versed in agile ways of working to enable a focus on prioritisation and delivering value
- Strong skills in effectively engaging and managing stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and alignment with project goals
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Business Analysis Certification (CBAP or equivalent) – highly regarded
- Previous experience with Salesforce and/or Marketing Cloud – highly regarded
- Experience working in the higher education sector – highly regarded
