Our client is a small government agency responsible for the development and delivery of national programs, services and systems which encourage better use of data and technology to enable Australians to live healthier, happier, and more productive lives.

The Role
As an experienced Senior Business Analyst, you will exercise a considerable degree of independence and perform a leadership role working closely with stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of business processes, technical infrastructure, technical services, strategic roadmap, and in the context in which the Agency operates.

You will act as the conduit between the business units, and internal stakeholders that will include the IT business management, solutions development and solutions implementation functional teams within the Agency.

Essential criteria

  • Proven capabilities achieving complex deliverables in technical and business analysis
  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst
  • Strong understanding of waterfall and agile principles and methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills..
