This leading University is seeking an experienced Senior BA to work in the Finance area on a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) compliance initiative.

The project involves current state documentation, validation, and gap analysis of the organisation’s compliance of the PCI DSS global data security standard.

Your brand-new role will involve people, policy, process and technology aspects. You will work with both business and technical stakeholders at various levels, including Finance Business Stakeholders and Cyber Security with a key focus on process mapping, process improvement and gap analysis.

Key activities

  • Lead workshops with stakeholders (e.g., business and technical) for process, policy and technology current state capture and gap analysis.
  • Processes must capture business rules, roles and responsibilities and highlight PCI-DSS compliance (including gaps) in current processes.
  • Work with stakeholders to document processes to address PCI DSS compliance.
  • Validation of a draft compliance report that has been created by the business.
  • Identify and capture the current operating model and changes that may be required to ensure PCI-DSS compliance.

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in similar roles.
  • Strong requirements analysis/elicitation/specification/traceability and workshop facilitation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform a gap analysis.
  • Experienced in capturing of end-to-end processes (including people, technology and policy).
  • Strong senior stakeholder management with excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in leading workshops, scoping activities and documenting outcomes
  • University sector experience highly regarded but not mandatory.
