Our Federal client is a progressive and multi-faceted law enforcement organisation taking a strong lead in the fight against 21st century crime.

The Role

Our Federal client is seeking a Business Analyst to understanding business processes and determining business requirements for systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Business/System Analysis and business process design of IT applications/systems
  • Requirements elicitation and facilitating stakeholder workshops
  • Produce functional and non-functional specifications, use cases and scenarios
  • Analyse and map business processes, user pathways and information flows
  • Manage business stakeholders and acting as a conduit between business and the program/project team
  • Work with business stakeholders for User Acceptance Testing
  • Work effectively in a small team environment
  • Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other team members; and
  • Ability to record and maintain files/information in accordance with the organisation’s requirement

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Business Analyst role
  • Experience with developing business user requirements, functional and non-functional specifications and use cases and scenarios
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively

It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen with a minimum NV1 security clearance
