Senior Business Analyst
This leading University is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a key Portfolio working across multiple IT initiatives that align with strategic objectives.
Key accountabilities
- Identify, engage, and manage stakeholders effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive impactful change by improving processes, systems, and operations across the institution.
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that the delivery of outcomes meet stakeholder expectations and drive organisational success.
- Lead workshops with business and technical stakeholders to capture requirements related to processes, policies, and technology.
- Develop and maintain functional and non-functional requirements documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support stakeholder decision-making.
Skills and experience
- Minimum 5+ years proven experience in similar roles
- Ability to engage and manage senior stakeholders, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive experience in requirements elicitation, specification, traceability, and gap analysis.
- Skilled in leading workshops, scoping activities, and documenting outcomes effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to capture and document end-to-end processes, encompassing people, technology, and policy.
- Previous experience working within an Agile environment
- University sector experience
- Business Analysis accreditation highly regarded
