
Senior Business Analyst
- You can be based in Canberra, Sydney or Brisbane
- NV1 Clearance preferred – citizenship minimum requirement
- 12 month contract
- Experience with HL7 CDA, HL7 FHIR, or other healthcare standards (desirable)
Our federal client is responsible for improving health outcomes for Australians through national digital health services and the National Digital Health Strategy. The Agency’s mission is to create a collaborative environment that accelerates the adoption of innovative digital services and technologies.
As a Senior Business Analyst (EL1), you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering digital health solutions that align with the Agency’s strategic objectives. You will work across multiple teams and stakeholders, providing expert business analysis, system analysis, and design solutions to enhance national digital health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex business analysis initiatives across a portfolio of digital health programs
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and provide strategic recommendations
- Conduct impact assessments, facilitate requirements gathering, and prioritise initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers and government agencies
- Manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality business analysis outcomes
- Contribute to innovation and business improvement strategies
Skills we are seeking:
- Demonstrated experience in digital health, clinical information systems, or product implementation (highly desirable)
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas effectively
- Experience with HL7 CDA, HL7 FHIR, or other healthcare standards (desirable)
- Deep understanding of the Australian healthcare sector and its technology landscape
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
