Senior Communication Officer
The Role
Our State Government client is seeking a Senior Communication and Engagement Advisor to lead the development and implementation of strategic communication initiatives. In this role, you will provide advice and support on internal and external communication. This is an initial contract until the end of July 2025 with a potential to extend, starting first week of Feburary.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated communication strategies for key projects and initiatives.
- Provide expert advice on content creation, messaging, and communication channels.
- Manage consultation and engagement processes to drive effective communication.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in communication strategies.
About You
- Experienced communicator with a background in strategic communications and engagement.
- Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build partnerships.
- Problem-solving abilities and a track record of driving continuous improvement.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in communication, public relations, or a related field.
