Our client is a Tier 1 client in the Financial Services sector. They are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst with expertise in data privacy and/or records management to join their team. In this role, you will analyze, manage, and interpret complex datasets to support data-driven decision-making while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices in records management. Your insights will play a pivotal role in optimizing data governance, minimizing risks, and enhancing the organization’s operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support data-driven business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, IT, and Compliance, to ensure data practices align with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and records management standards.
  • Design and implement data quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
  • Support data privacy initiatives by identifying and mitigating risks related to data usage, storage, and sharing.
  • Develop and manage data classification, retention, and destruction policies in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of records management systems and workflows.
  • Provide expertise in data governance, contributing to the development and enforcement of policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Train and support team members on data privacy and records management best practices.
  • Monitor emerging trends and regulations in data privacy and records management to ensure the organization remains compliant and proactive.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst, with a focus on data privacy or records management in banking or financial service sector
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with records management processes, systems, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, R, or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a focus on data integrity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
