Senior Desktop Support Engineer

In this key position, you will ensure that end-users experience minimal disruption by providing high-quality technical support across various platforms. Your role will include providing on-site support, assisting with end-user requests, and troubleshooting AV and printing systems. You’ll also collaborate with managed service providers (MSPs) and other internal teams to resolve complex issues and enhance user productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-Site Support, assisting end-users with hardware, software, and network-related issues at their workstations.
  • Quickly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to reduce downtime.
  • Escalate more complex issues to other IT teams or MSPs as needed.
  • Provide support for PCs, network issues, and mobile devices.
  • Help with software installations, account setups, and access permissions.
  • Educate users on self-help resources and best practices.
  • Set up and troubleshoot AV equipment for meetings and events.
  • Collaborate with facilities teams to ensure smooth AV operations.
  • Manage and optimize printing infrastructure.
  • Resolve printer-related issues and ensure security measures are in place.
  • Create helpful resources like user guides and knowledge base articles.
  • Provide training to end-users on new technologies and processes.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in EUC (End User Computing) support or a similar role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune (Essential)
  • Experience with Windows Autopilot White Glove (Essential)
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, ServiceNow, and Unified Endpoint Management.
  • Proficiency with Windows and macOS systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong networking knowledge (e.g., TCP/IP, wireless, Ethernet) and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Previous experience working with MSPs and ITIL certification (preferred).

*Please note candidates must be based in Sydney and able to work onsite in Sydney CBD 5 days per week.
