With 25+ years of experience offering services focused on Microsoft Cloud Solutions and providing tailored solutions to various industries like Manufacturing, construction, real estate and more!

They are looking to hire a Senior Hybrid Network Engineer to design and implement network solutions integrating traditional data centers and Azure cloud environments. The role includes maintaining and optimizing their network and Linux devices, monitoring systems, and ensuring security compliance.

Day to day would be 50% Linux – 35% Datacenter Networking and 15% Azure.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, implement, and manage network infrastructures in Azure and traditional data center environments.
  • Perform general maintenance and optimization for network and Linux devices.
  • Provide first-line network-related support.
  • Ensure network configurations comply with security policies.
  • Manage backup operations and disaster recovery processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong experience in managing Linux systems.
  • Experience in network concepts like BGP, VLANs, OSPF, subnetting, and Network Gateways.
  • Creation of network environments on cloud hosted platforms like Azure (ARM or Networking Solutions)
  • Securing datacenter environments with enterprise level firewalls (Cisco)

Details:

  • This is a remote opportunity that is Full Time and Direct Hire
  • Quarterly travel to Datacenters across the US.
