Senior IT Project Manager // Data Migration & Card Payments

Our client is a Tier 1 client in the Financial Services sector. They are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex IT projects, with a primary focus on data migrations and card payment systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional projects in the financial technology domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Oversee and manage large-scale data migration projects, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

  • Collaborate with data architects and technical teams to design and implement migration strategies.

  • Establish testing frameworks to validate data migration processes, ensuring minimal business disruption.

  • Manage the delivery and integration of card payment systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS.

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement secure, scalable, and efficient payment processing solutions.

  • Stay updated on emerging trends in card payments and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations.

  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, status meetings, and regular reporting.

  • Build strong relationships with vendors, ensuring contract terms are adhered to and deliverables are met.

Requirements:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on data migrations and card payments.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

  • Experience in delivering projects compliant with PCI-DSS and other relevant industry standards.

  • Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Trello.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
