Senior Manager
Our Tier 1 Financial Services client requires a Senior Manager on a 12 Month initial Day Rate Contract based in Sydney’s CBD. This position will work closely with Business Change and Vendor Governance. The Senior Manager will lead and oversee a diverse range of projects within the business. This is a pivotal role that requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, financial services, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk management, and change control.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular project reviews and status updates to senior management.
- Change Management:
- Drive change initiatives within the business, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruption.
- Assess the impact of changes and develop effective communication plans to inform stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify and address potential challenges and resistance to change.
- Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and performance standards.
- Oversee vendor performance and resolve any issues or disputes.
- Agile Methodology:
- Lead and coach teams in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Essential Experience Required:
- 5 + Years working within Financial Services.
- 5 + Years as a Senior Project Manager.
- 4 + Years experience in change management and risk management at Project Management Level.
- Experience working within Mortgages or Mortgage projects.
- Exceptional Vendor management and Governance experience.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
