Senior Network Engineer - Juniper / Automation
A growing FinTech provider is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong Juniper (routers, switches, firewalls) and network automation skills to join their team on a permanent basis.
Joining a small, growing infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting their complex network environment which is mainly consists of Juniper routers, switches and firewalls. This role will be a mix of BAU and project initiatives, with a particular focus on beginning their journey to automate their networks.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications coupled with relevant industry certifications
- Demonstrated Network Engineering experience gained within large, complex environments
- Strong knowledge and experience supporting, troubleshooting, configuring and deploying Juniper devices (SRX firewalls, routers and switches)
- Solid exposure with AWS along with hands-on experience writing IaC with either Terraform or Ansible with strong Python scripting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Superior stakeholder engagement and team work skills
This is a Sydney-based role which will require you to be in the office at least three days per week.
