Senior Policy and Project Officer
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Policy Officer to join our state government client on an initial 12-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing contracts and driving key education projects to deliver strategic outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and monitor the performance of training providers against funding agreements and manage relationships with them effectively.
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate projects, identify risks, establish governance, and monitor performance to ensure successful delivery.
- Produce high-quality written materials for stakeholders within the public sector.
- Consult, negotiate, and influence key stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
About You:
- Demonstrated contract management experience, particularly in monitoring and liaising with training providers.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to identify risks and deliver outcomes.
- Excellent written communication skills with experience writing in the public sector.
- Experience in developing or managing training programs would be advantageous.
