Opportunity
Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Portfolio Analyst operating at the highest level, experienced in complex and fast-paced corporates or tier-1 consulting into enterprise. This is a large multi-million dollar, multi-stream, multi-vendor data program and Melbourne based with flexibility.

  • 12 months initial term – 3 year program

Role
You’ll wear multiple hats supporting the Program Director and EPMO Manager as a right-hand. This is an individual contributing role initially which drives results through indirect reports, however there may be growth opportunity to manage a number of Analysts as the program matures.

Key focus areas for the role:

  • Delivery Planning – support multiple PM’s from initiation, planning and track dependencies and driving the project charter
  • Delivery Support – support EPMO Manager and PM’s with meetings, minutes, agendas, schedules, risks and issues, financial management, contracts, post-implementation reviews
  • Ways of Working (Agile) – contribute to Community of Practice and drive Agile ways of working
  • Risk Management – drive good risk management and ensure PM’s drive good change risk management, processes and tools are adopted.
  • Financial Management and re-engineering of program financials

Success Measures

  • 10+ years’ experience supporting multi-million corporate programs from a financials, risk and delivery standpoint.
  • 8+ years’ experience embedded within Agile delivery and having supported agile delivery teams (SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban). Lean and SixSigma would be an advantage
  • Advanced level Excel for financials and extremely strong Atlassian JIRA and Confluence to almost administrator level
  • Background in fast-paced corporate, ideally banking, financial services or fin-techs
  • Tier-1 consulting experience into the above would be very highly regarded
  • Ability to engage and work with a range of Delivery Finance, P&C stakeholders to GM level
  • Able to work autonomously, take ownership, identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
  • Proven program financial process re-engineering skills and able to drive improvements to financial forecasts, workbooks, reconciliations as well as dependency management etc
  • Proven experience running a PMO or team of analysts in delivering outcomes whilst identifying and driving continuous improvement
  • Tertiary and/or project management qualifications (Agile SAFe, SCRUM, Prince2, PMBOK, PMI)
