Senior Process Engineer

Our client is a market leader in the utilities sector. They are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer where you will be responsible for planning and developing the service portfolio to ensure the client has an optimised suite of Programs to deliver defined services and service objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Interpret Service Master Plans into Technical Objectives at a system and major asset level.
  • Develop programs of investment to implement required management regimes.
  • Develop program performance objectives for the Water Harvest and Transfer portfolio.
  • Provide technical judgement and expertise to support the prioritization of investment programs.
  • Support the review of service risk profiles and the preparation of the annual Service Capability Report.
  • Apply relevant asset management processes and improvement measures within existing policy guidelines.
  • Ensure Health and Safety through hazard identification and active involvement in improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & KPIs:

  • Develop Service Programs for the Water Transfer portfolio.
  • Demonstrate understanding of water network planning and hydraulic modeling.
  • Embed requisite standards and management regimes to manage water network assets.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities for asset management processes.
  • Understand customer needs and build strong relationships, particularly with Retail Water Companies.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Support team leadership in proactive Health and Safety Leadership.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of service planning processes, asset management, risk assessment, and project management.
  • Capability to evaluate options and proposals, exercise professional judgment, and influence decision making.
  • Strong financial acumen in the context of large-scale infrastructure.
  • Proven history of working as a collaborative team member and achieving customer-centric outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with corporate IT systems (e.g., MS Office, Maximo, ESRI, etc.).
  • Proactive Health and Safety leadership and commitment to Health and Safety procedures.
