Working for this health services organisation as an IT Project Manager your role will be to ensure the successful upgrade and deployed of Windows 11 SOE, you will also be involved in managing the RFT process and implementation of a new backup solution.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and the selected provider/s you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from initiation to completion, ensuring that solutions meet the needs of the organisation, and is implemented on time and within budget.

Key activities

  • Define project scope and deliverables that support the organisation’s goals in collaboration with project sponsors
  • Manage project teams and resource needs based on project requirements and the allocation of internal and external resources
  • Track key project milestones and manage & report on project financials including budget, forecasts and actuals
  • Effectively manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders, including customers and delivery teams
  • Develop project communication plans, including communication with all project stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with vendors and third party suppliers

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience in managing IT infrastructure projects in a multi-site environment
  • Previous experience in SOE deployments
  • Strong contract management skills to manage (RFQ & RFT) activities and negotiations
  • Experience in vendor management, covering contract negotiation, dispute resolution and account management
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of Health processes, practices and applications is desirable
