The Role
Join State Government, part of the Land Acquisition Team, collaborating with vendors, stakeholders, and other government teams to secure the necessary sites, integrating findings from environmental and cultural heritage assessments. This role is an intial 6 month contract with a potential to extend.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage land acquisition processes in line with policies and regulations.
  • Negotiate and liaise with vendors to finalise agreements.
  • Coordinate with assessment teams to incorporate findings into acquisition strategies.
  • Ensure efficient and timely delivery of land acquisition objectives.

About You:

  • Proven experience in land acquisition, ideally in a government or public sector setting.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of acquisition processes and legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
