Role:
We are seeking a Senior QA Analyst with strong UKG (Kronos) experience to play a key role in the successful delivery of workforce management solutions within our organisation. You will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies, ensuring high-quality implementations, upgrades, and configurations of UKG solutions, and supporting end-to-end testing efforts. You’ll work closely with project managers, developers, business analysts, and key stakeholders to ensure system integrity, compliance, and optimal user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA efforts for UKG (Kronos) system implementations, enhancements, and integrations (including Workforce Dimensions, Workforce Central, and/or other modules).
- Design and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on system requirements and user stories.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing activities for UKG modules.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure accurate representation of business processes and time/payroll rules in testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools; collaborate with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure test data setup aligns with system configurations and business use cases.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Support training and knowledge transfer activities related to UKG testing and system changes.
- Participate in change management and release planning cycles.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 5+ years of QA experience, including 2+ years with UKG (Kronos) solutions, particularly in complex, enterprise-level environments.
- Strong understanding of UKG WFM modules such as Timekeeping, Scheduling, Absence Management, and Payroll interfaces.
- Proven experience with testing methodologies, tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM), and defect management processes.
- Familiarity with integrations between UKG and HRIS/Payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of HR/payroll business processes and compliance requirements in Australia.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and/or hybrid project environments.
