Senior Security Engineer
Our Client
Our client is a statutory agency tasked with the significant responsibility of protecting Australia’s national interests from foreign threats. As well as collecting and analysing foreign intelligence, our client provides information security services to the Australian Government.
About The Role
Our client is seeking the engagement for multiple ‘Senior Security Engineers’ who will provide support to our client’s range of projects or programs by showcasing expertise around operational and system security management and administrative services.
It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and hold a NV1 security clearance. (Preferably TSPV)
Key Technical Stack revolves around:
- Demonstrable experience in ICT security activities with a focus on Linux and Windows operating systems
- High level of knowledge on ICT security threat and risk assessments and the ability to recommend mitigation/remediation strategies
- Experience with security controls in cloud computing systems.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Good knowledge of information security principles, practices and technologies
- High level of knowledge on ICT security threat and risk assessments and the ability to recommend mitigation/remediation strategies
- Experience in production of complex technical documentation
Other Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a security engineer or similar role.
