Senior ServiceNow Engineer - ITOM / ITAM

A leading Financial Services provider is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineer with solid ITOM (IT Operations Management) and ITAM (IT Asset management) experience to join their team on a permanent basis.

As part of a growing ServiceNow practice, you will utilise your strong ServiceNow knowledge and experience to work on a variety of project initiatives and BAU tasks, specifically across the ITOM / ITAM modules. This organisation is rapidly maturing their ServiceNow environment with a range of projects in the pipeline, and you will take ownership of the ITOM / ITAM components (Discovery, Event Management, CMDB) of these projects, working extensively with stakeholders from across technology to help drive and deliver this added functionality.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications (i.e. ITIL, ServiceNow etc)
• Advanced knowledge and experience working with ServiceNow including ITOM / ITAM with any exposure to Discovery, CMDB, Event Management and/or SecOps highly desirable
• Demonstrated experience working in large, complex environments (Financial Services highly regarded)
• Strong background in IT Infrastructure coupled with advanced knowledge and understanding of IT Service Management and ITIL
• Proven experience with AWS
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with an ability to negotiate, influence and provide guidance and advice
• Superior verbal and written communication skills

This is a Sydney-based role which requires you to be in the office at least three days per week.
