About The Role

Our client is seeking the engagement of highly dynamic multiple Canberra-based ‘Senior Test Analysts’ who are capable to support the test management team with quality assurance expertise in delivery of ICT infrastructure, applications and associated projects through testing, governance, and engagement. The team plays a critical role in ensuring our client’s and Partner agency staff in utilising modern ICT infrastructure, applications and platforms securely by assessing the fitness for purpose and compliance to their division’s entry/exit criterion.

It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and hold a NV1 security clearance or higher.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Adopt and adapt appropriate testing methods, automated tools and techniques to solve problems in tools and testing approaches.
  • Measure and monitor applications of standards for testing.
  • Identify improvements and contribute to the development of organisational policies, standards, and guidelines for testing.

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally 8+ years of experience with ISTQB Foundation or higher certification.
  • Experience in testing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Bespoke coded products.
  • Experience using testing tools such as Azure DevOps for test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Experience in testing of REST Services / SOAP web services and web applications.
  • Experience in MOE, and infrastructure / hardware testing (Highly Desirable)
  • Experience in low code / no code platforms such as Salesforce, Smart IQ, MS Power Apps. (Highly Desirable)
