Our Client

Our client is national public organisation with responsibility for providing technical advice to the Australian Government on all aspects of geoscience. In partnership with Government, industry, academia and research organisations, the agency provides specialist expertise, information and data on Australia’s geographic and geological services, with the aim of building resource wealth, ensuring safety of communities from natural hazards, securing and sustaining water resources and understanding natural processes and activities to inform decision-making.

The Role

Our client is seeking three talented developers to join their team Customer Digital Services. The successful candidate will contribute to building and maintaining thirty digital products, including two of the agency’s flagship systems.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing robust, efficient and reliable software.
  • Offering expert technical advice and guidance to both developers and scientists.
  • Designing, implementing and negotiating infrastructure and software solutions that traverse the cloud environments.
  • Creating a robust, efficient and scalable digital platforms for Australian Government and industry partners to consume.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years professional experience with Angular version 12+ within the last 12 months.
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience with Amazon Web Services within the last 12 months.
  • Demonstrated experience with Geo-spatial implementations like OpenLayers on the front end and Geoserver on the backend
  • Demonstrated experience with Java and scripting languages.
